Get App

BlueJeans is an app for hosting and participating in video conferences. It was developed by BlueJeans Network and is available on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, Linux. The app is even available as an extension for Google Chrome, as an add-in for Microsoft Office 365 Outlook, and as a plugin for Windows Outlook.

Features: Lots of Attendees

BlueJeans has all the basic features of a video conference app: it allows to create and join conferences, toggle the cameras and the microphones, demonstrate the screens and many more. The best feature to mention in this BlueJeans review is that the app allows you to participate in conferences with up to 150 attendees, which is definitely a lot.

Sharing features are also great in BlueJeans as the app allows sharing photos, documents, presentations, and many other types of files. Another great feature of this app is that you don’t have to register an account to participate in a meeting.

Design, Interface & Usability: Extremely Comfortable

The greatest thing about BlueJeans is the app’s design. Its interface is very intuitive and user-friendly: the app is very logically structured and properly split into several sections. The calls are easy to manage and even easier to attend.

All the features are always available with several taps, and you will most probably have no troubles in finding the exact feature you need.

Platforms & Requirements: Not So Hard

The system requirements of BlueJeans are not really high. For Android devices it is necessary to have Android 6.0 or later and the Apple device owners will have to update their iOS 11.0 or higher.

The app is also available on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and the requirements are pretty low as well: almost every budget PC or laptop will easily cope with BlueJeans. The app is also very careful with your data plan and is a nice option to have calls on the go.

In Conclusion

To sum up, BlueJeans is a great conference app with tons of features. The best thing about it is that the app is very intuitive and user-friendly, unlike most other conference apps. It is a great alternative to ZOOM or other applications as it is much easier to use and is available on all the platforms. It is free to try BlueJeans, so we definitely recommend giving it a shot.

The Best Part of It:

  • Large capacity of participants, up to 150 people in a conference;

  • Great interface design;

  • Lots of additional features.

The Worst Part of It:

  • It is not free to use;

  • Large conferences might get a bit laggy.
